Therefore in its simplest term women empowerment is a practice through which women acquire the ability or power to exercise their rights in a society concerning their own lives and realizing their sense of self-worth, their right to have and determine choices, access to opportunities and resources and their ability to influence the direction of social change to create more just social and economic order by involving themselves in decision making process, at local, national, as well as international levels. Brief about my Home Town:-Dhanbad

Dhanbad district was constituted in 1956 by carving out the old Dhanbad subdivision,Chas and Chandankiyari police stations of the Sadar subdivision of the Manbhum district. In 1991,a part of Dhanbad district was sliced to form Bokaro district. Dhanbad is also known as the coal capital of India and City of black diamond. In the western middle part of the district are the Dhangi hills, situated in the strip falling between the GT road in the north. In the south,these hills extend from Pradhankhanta to Govindpur.
