Mahashivratri

Mahashivratri:- Mahashivaratri is a Hindu festival celebrated annually in the honour of Lord Shiva. This year Mahashivaratri occured on 11th march. Devotees line up in Lord Shiva's temple for hours to pray and worship through the offerings like fruits, sweet, bel patra, etc. Devotees also do Maha Abhishekam with milk on Shivalinga and observe fasting. Often, females observe fasting as it is believed that they'll have happy married life ahead, unmarried girls observe fast to get good, gentle and sincere husband. It is a major festival in Hinduism, and this festival is solemn and marks a remembrance of "overcoming darkness and ignorance" in life and the world. What is women empowerment? Empowerment of women has been a major objective and debate in the recent past among the academia and civil societies across the world. Women empowerment is the process of changing the system of society or any institution that positions women subordinate to men. Brief about my Home Town:-Dhanbad

Dhanbad district was constituted in 1956 by carving out the old Dhanbad subdivision,Chas and Chandankiyari police stations of the Sadar subdivision of the Manbhum district. In 1991,a part of Dhanbad district was sliced to form Bokaro district. Dhanbad is also known as the coal capital of India and City of black diamond.
